Job Title: Fashion Design Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Fashion Design Teacher to join our team at La Movida Fashion Design Academy.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching fashion design courses to students, developing curriculum, and assessing student progress. They will also be expected to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, provide individualized instruction, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach fashion design courses to students, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with industry standards.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, including setting up and cleaning up after classes.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, including responding to emails and phone calls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in fashion design education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of fashion design software, including Adobe Photoshop.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing high-quality education to students. They will be expected to work a standard 32-40 hour workweek, with occasional evenings and weekends as required.
