Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including financial statements, affidavits, pleadings, and agreements.
  • Assist lawyers in managing family law files, ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel regarding case matters and document requests.
  • Conduct legal research and compile case law summaries to support legal proceedings.
  • Manage and organize case files, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures, court processes, and legal documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a law clerk in a family law practice.
  • LAW CLERK diploma or equivalent certification required.
