About the Role

We are seeking a senior software developer with hands-on experience in mobile application development to lead our Android software development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support user-focused mobile-based applications and programs for Android.
  • Lead the full stack and lifecycle of main software applications from brainstorming to execution.
  • Mentor other software developers to support their performance and pass on knowledge.
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle for multiple small to large-scale Android projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or at least 6 years of experience working in software development or business intelligence environments.
  • 5 years' experience in Android mobile application development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
  • Good understanding of and ability to navigate through C/C++ code, and adjust the code, if necessary, to suit new requirements/bug fixes.
  • 5 years' experience in front-end apps on Android.
  • Hands-on experience building a mobile app using Java, Kotlin, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Router, HTML5, CSS3 on Android.
  • Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Practical experience working within an agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Fluency in Jira/Confluence – must exhibit an advanced user level.
