Job Summary

As a Senior Fleet Supervisor at Walmart Canada, you will be responsible for overseeing the Driver Fleet and providing support to the Dispatch and Admin staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the daily workload distribution for team members to ensure completion.

  • Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight, ensuring alignment with daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.

  • Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries, concerns, and problems.

  • Support Regional Transportation operations by offering assistance and guidance as required.

  • Plan and schedule team members to ensure proper staffing across all shifts, aligning with volumes and service expectations.

  • Review accuracy of time and attendance reporting to ensure compliance with hours of work regulations.

  • Stay aware of Highway traffic act regulations, including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions, etc.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of applicable routes within the region.

  • Compile data on incidents and accidents, and distribute and communicate with relevant personnel.

  • Focus on achieving Transportation targets in a timely fashion while promoting continuous improvement.

  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, responding to client and employee inquiries, resolving conflicts, etc.
