Front Store Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front Store Clerk to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Regina, SK. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service by acknowledging and greeting customers with a smile, maintaining a warm and friendly attitude, and handling telephone inquiries quickly and courteously.
- Assist the Front Store Manager with day-to-day operations, including cash handling, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Develop product knowledge and learn about new products, knowing product locations and store layout, and requesting cash pick-ups when large sums of money are accumulated.
- Maintain store security, follow store policy regarding shoplifters, and display all goods properly and arrange them for easy customer discovery.
- Perform light janitorial duties, maintain specific sections as allocated, and notify the store buyer regarding merchandise out of stock.
- Learn and utilize proper merchandising techniques, such as shelf label placement, stock rotation, and facing, and participate in the development and preparation of displays, windows, and seasonal promotions.
- Carry out additional duties as delegated by the Front Store Manager and Store Operator, always keeping busy and productive, and identifying tasks that can be performed between customers while cashiering.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Able to handle cash with accuracy and function for an extended period while standing.
- Some customer service and cashiering experience, with excellent communication skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple clients at once.
- Ability to develop product knowledge, learn about new products, and communicate clearly and courteously with customers.
- Mature and cooperative attitude, professional image, including a name tag and proper grooming.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this position, you must provide us with a Criminal Record Check.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $$15.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits, including dental care, disability insurance, employee assistance program, extended health care, paid time off, store discount, and vision care.
Work Schedule
The typical shift hours will be Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
