PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, wash and dry dishes, and maintain a clean and organized dishroom area.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and washing and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Work Setting:

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in a restaurant setting.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
