Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada champion Ironworks Full time

Champion Ironworks seeks a highly skilled Skilled Tradesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, repairing or replacing defective machinery parts, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy machinery maintenance, with experience in operating machining tools to fabricate parts, installing machinery and equipment, and operating hoisting and lifting equipment.

As a Heavy Machinery Technician with Champion Ironworks, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with all weather conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Welder Trade Certification
  • Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
