Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Services Associate to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing exceptional client service and support to our clients and Advisor team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to contact clients, and ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant.

You will work closely with the Investment Advisor in managing client portfolios and developing wealth planning strategies. Your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships will enable you to effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
  • Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Leverage your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • An undergraduate degree with a competitive GPA.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
