F.F.P. Systems Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled TIG (tungsten inert gas) welder to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment operation, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD).

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products using various welding techniques, including arc welding and gas welding.

In addition, they should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
  • Determine weldability of materials
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The selected candidate will be working in a commercial, industrial, and manufacture environment with exposure to dusty, noisy, and dirty conditions.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health care plan, dental plan, free parking available, tools, and steel-toed safety boots.
