This will involve anticipating customer needs while respecting our company's vision and values. Additionally, you'll establish solid relationships with suppliers to drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies for assigned categories.
  • Negotiate promotional agreements with suppliers.
  • Establish weekly promotional calendars within prescribed deadlines.
  • Monitor supplier promotional activities.
  • Develop seasonal marketing strategies in collaboration with development managers.
  • Secure attractive promotions from large suppliers.
  • Maintain competitive pricing by monitoring market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Adjust retail pricing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage budget objectives and ensure their achievement.
  • Audit product categories regularly.
  • Address customer comments promptly and communicate solutions to the category development team as needed.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Communicate supplier opportunities to the development team.
  • Collaborate with purchasing staff to monitor stock availability and shrinkage.
  • Lead by example in a dynamic environment.
  • Promote team success through effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Proficient communication skills in English and French.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and respect for products and deadlines.
  • Experience in negotiation and demonstrated organization skills.
  • Post-secondary degree required.
