Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Line Technician to join our team at Maple AV Inc. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and performing minor repairs to equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
Work Environment

You will work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and underground. You will be required to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
