VP of Software Engineering

Alteo Inc. is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead its Software Engineering department. As VP of Software Engineering, you will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the Executive Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Implement and oversee effective software development practices, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software developments meet market needs and customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for IT infrastructure and other activities.
  • Ensure the quality of software deliverables by implementing rigorous testing and validation processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, software engineering or equivalent.
  • 10-15+ years experience in IT, software development.
  • 5+ years' experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Expertise in software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
  • Proven skills in managing complex projects, with an ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
