The Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to design, engineer, build, and support world-class redundant voice/data centers. The right candidate will also work as part of a team to support our complete product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer scalable and secure data centers using VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.
  • Administer Windows 2008-2016 servers, deploying and tuning them for optimal performance.
  • Deploy and support Skype for Business 2015 and/or 2019, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches for network security and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS standards by implementing robust security measures.
  • Manage SQL clusters for high availability and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot SIP and VoIP issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor and analyze internet packet security and perform troubleshooting tasks.
  • Analyze and resolve network operation management issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with service providers to troubleshoot SBCs (Service Border Controllers) and resolve gateway-related issues.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of storage technologies, including NAS and SAN systems from EMC and Dell.

Requirements:

  • Direct customer exposure and positive phone manner are essential for this role.
  • Able to work overtime and be on-call when necessary.
  • No more than 10% travel required.
  • Multi-tasking and telecommunications or contact center product experience are valuable assets.
  • Certifications from VMWare, Cisco, and Microsoft are considered assets but not mandatory.
