Working under the direction of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, you will have key responsibilities in the individual care plan for each patient, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are supported, while promoting maximum independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and related equipment
- Perform nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment through housekeeping activities
- Observe and report changes in patient behavior and condition
- Accompany clients on outings and during social activities
- Perform clerical duties and delegated tasks
This is a casual opportunity with Interior Health Authority. As a casual employee, you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, and 23:00 to 07:00 hours. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

This facility is an 82-bed complex care facility equipped with services and 24-hour staff devoted to creating a comfortable living environment.
