We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Northern/NorthMart. As a Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to make the best buying and merchandising decisions for your store and to lead your team to exceptional results.

Our Management Development Program consists of working in one of our stores in a supervisory capacity and training in all areas of the business. Upon successful completion of the training program, and based on relocation availability, individuals are offered the management of a Northern/NorthMart franchise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influence sales and profit results
  • Determine your store's product assortment through buying to the needs of the community
  • Be actively involved and connect with the store's local community
  • Be part of a profitable Canadian owned company with more than 50 years of proven success
Requirements:
  • A passion for customer service and merchandising excellence
  • Minimum 3 years' retail experience in a high volume, big box, fast-paced retail store
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and with learning new software

Candidates must be willing to relocate to multiple markets in the north. Relocation arrangements will be made and paid for by Northern/NorthMart.
