About the Role

Dow Chemical Canada ULC is seeking a highly skilled PhD scientist to join our Research and Development team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. As a PhD scientist, you will work with a cross-functional team to address analytical challenges and provide technical support for plant operations and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement measurement science approaches to accelerate delivery on high-priority projects.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to address analytical challenges and provide technical support for plant operations and optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of new measurement science approaches and techniques.
  • Work with a team to implement and optimize measurement science approaches in plant operations.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Data Science, or other science-related discipline.
  • New graduates, those expecting to graduate by December 2025, and post-doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company support or sponsorship.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 is preferred.
