Executive Vice-President, Trade and Broadcasting Services

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Executive Vice-President, Trade and Broadcasting Services. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the Government of Canada's trade and broadcasting policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade and broadcasting policies and programs that support the Government of Canada's economic and social objectives
- Provide strategic advice to senior officials and ministers on trade and broadcasting issues
- Lead and manage a team of trade and broadcasting specialists to ensure effective policy development and implementation
- Collaborate with other government departments and stakeholders to advance trade and broadcasting interests
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, economics, or business administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade and broadcasting policy development and implementation
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior officials, ministers, and stakeholders
Working Conditions
- Work is typically performed in an office environment, with occasional travel to other locations
- May require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines and respond to urgent issues
