Job Description

The Head of Finance will lead our finance team, overseeing budgeting and reporting, managing treasury functions, preparing forecasts, and collaborating with senior management to monitor key business metrics.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and present financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Manage the finance team, mentoring and inspiring members to achieve excellence.
  3. Establish budget guidelines, prepare the annual budget, and deliver timely, accurate financial reports.
  4. Track financial performance for each project, ensuring compliance with contracts and funding agreements.
  5. Buid relationships with key stakeholders, including Export Development Canada, banking partners, and external accountants.
What You Bring to the Table
  • A CPA designation (or equivalent experience) and at least 7 years in senior accounting or related roles.
  • Expertise in project accounting and export financing is highly valued.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
