About the Role


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Personal Support Worker at Shannex Incorporated in Ajax, Ontario.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobilizing according to work assignment;
  • Collaborate with the resident and interdisciplinary team in developing individualized care plans;
  • Implement leisure activities and assist with light housekeeping duties;
  • Perform delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice;
  • Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to supervisor.

Requirements



  • A valid Personal Care Worker course or equivalent;
  • The ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • A clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening;
  • Previous experience working with elderly in long-term care or senior living environments an asset;
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification preferred;
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
