Job Summary:

The Meat Products Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing meat products for customer purchase and maintaining the overall appearance of the meat department. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding expectations whenever possible.
  • Meat Product Preparation: Prepare meat products for customer purchase, including slicing, wrapping, and labeling.
  • Meat Department Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including restocking shelves and disposing of waste.
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and process meat orders, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient processing.
  • Adherence to Standards: Adhere to all applicable company standards, including those related to food safety, quality, and presentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum 12 Months of Experience: Minimum 12 months of experience in a retail or food service environment preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
