About the Role:
Lifemark Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Counselling Therapist to join our team. As a Counselling Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality counselling services to clients with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling services to clients, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss client progress, treatment plans, and any barriers to treatment.
- Deliver high-quality reporting and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Licensed Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick.
- Master's degree in a counselling-related field, such as Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
- Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of a range of mental health symptoms with adult clients.
- Knowledge of psychological management of chronic pain and concussive syndrome an asset.
- Training and experience with cognitive behavioural therapy approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, CPT).
- Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, solid judgement, and integrity.
