Plant-Based Protein Industry Leader

Protein Industries Canada is seeking an experienced executive to lead our organization as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of Protein Industries Canada, driving our mission to position Canada as a global source of high-quality plant protein and plant-based co-products.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a multi-faceted background that combines industry, government/public sector, research, and/or academia in roles that have included commercialization and innovation. You will bring a strong understanding of the agriculture and food sectors, as well as a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset. Your ability to manage myriad stakeholders, including private capital, research, industry, and government, will be essential in driving our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall management and leadership of Protein Industries Canada
- Drive our mission to position Canada as a global source of high-quality plant protein and plant-based co-products
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, government officials, and research institutions
- Oversee the development and implementation of our technology leadership investment portfolio
As CEO of Protein Industries Canada, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about driving innovation and commercialization in the plant-based protein industry.
