Job Description

**Job Summary:**

TLS Global Resources is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, servers, and related systems across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage network security, including Fortinet firewalls & switches, intrusion detection systems (IDS) and network access controls.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change management logs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including Windows, Linux, and other platforms.
  • Microsoft 365 and Entra Management: Manage Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and install updates, patches, and backups.
  • Security Protocols and Audits: Implement and maintain network security protocols, perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, apply patches and updates, and ensure the overall security posture of the network.
  • Incident Response and Support: Provide incident response management to address breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts, as well as provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for IT network and IT systems-related issues.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Create, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans for network and server infrastructure.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest network and security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary diploma/degree in technology, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience focusing on network and systems administration.
  • Network Security Experience: Proven experience with network security, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Server Administration: Advanced ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Demonstrated strong cyber security knowledge and related experience.
  • Virtualization Experience: Competent with virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V.
  • Fortinet Experience: Fortinet firewalls and switches experience is an asset.
  • Azure Experience: Azure cloud platform experience will be beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
