Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Freight Truck Driver to join our team at Farmer Freight Logistics Ltd. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Driving: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods with care, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, maintaining a high level of vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle condition and performing brake adjustments as needed.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
