Reports to: Construction Manager

Gerry Enns Contracting is a reputable construction company with a strong presence in the Fraser Valley. As a family-owned business, we prioritize building quality commercial properties and providing exceptional customer experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skillset and be able to support our various projects throughout the Fraser Valley and our out of town projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily construction activities and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct weekly site meetings to track project schedules and ensure timely completion
  • Develop and implement project plans, including manpower, equipment, and material requirements
  • Supervise field staff and trade partners to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to address project-related issues and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with Worksafe BC safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform daily walkthroughs to monitor project progress and quality
  • Update project schedules and communicate with stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Residential or Commercial Superintendent
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Adequate computer skills to communicate with project stakeholders
  • Valid Driver's License and current First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with CoConstruct and SiteDocs an asset
  • Red Seal trade qualification is an asset

Salary: $90,000-$125,000 Annually

The salary range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage, taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
