Job Description

The Strategic IT Leader will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our technology strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives and drives competitive advantage. This includes leading cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy new systems and applications, as well as identifying and mitigating technical risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports business growth and innovation
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy new systems and applications
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the integrity and security of our systems
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures
  • Represent the company in negotiations and official functions, building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Select and develop talent, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to drive excellence
  • Write technical reports, communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Project management, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Develop risk management plans, ensuring the company's assets and reputation are protected
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions, leveraging emerging technologies like blockchain and cloud computing
  • Ensure budgetary control, developing and managing financial plans and reports
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategic IT leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business growth through technology
  • Strong technical skills, including programming software, software development, and database management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and market research.
