Job Summary:
Maple Contractors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal protection systems in various buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' properties are safe and energy-efficient.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation material
- Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
- Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods
- Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
- Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
- Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
- Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
- Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings

- Insulator Trade Certification
- Insulator Red Seal Certificate
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Driver's License
- CADD Course
- Propane in Construction Record of Training
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Insulator (heat and frost) Trade Certification
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate

Work Environment:
- On-site work in various locations
