Creative Tradesperson

Xcel Construction Limited seeks a skilled Creative Tradesperson to join our team. As an Exterior Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for bringing our clients' interior and exterior design visions to life with precision and attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for growth and professional development.

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings
• Mix paint to desired color and texture
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Estimate costs and materials required for each project

To succeed as our Exterior Finishing Specialist, you must have:

• A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• At least 1 year of experience in the trade
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to work at heights and use power tools safely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
