Agricultural Specialist

We are seeking an Agricultural Specialist to join our team at Creekside Home and Garden. This is a seasonal opportunity that will provide valuable experience in crop and vegetable growing.

• Crop Management: Apply horticultural techniques, including hoeing and weeding, to maintain healthy crops.
• Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain greenhouses to ensure optimal growing conditions.
• Harvesting: Hand-harvest vegetables, adhering to quality control standards.
• Cultivation and Irrigation: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to established protocols.

This role requires working outdoors in a rural area, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, and hot conditions. The work environment is fast-paced, with repetitive tasks and a focus on meeting deadlines.

• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to physically handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed.
• Familiarity with farm equipment and basic tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.

• Experience working in agriculture or a related field.
• Knowledge of greenhouse management and irrigation systems.
