At Humbersys Consultancy Services Inc, we are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, as well as preparing tax returns and trial balances. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining computerized bookkeeping systems and preparing statistical, financial, and accounting reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balances
  • Maintain computerized bookkeeping systems and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
