Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit Enrolment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic enrolment management plans to attract and retain top talent from Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Enrolment Planning
    • Develop and implement strategic enrolment management plans to attract and retain top talent from Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit communities.
    • Collaborate with our recruitment team to identify and prioritize key enrolment objectives and strategies.
  • Recruitment and Outreach
    • Recruit prospective students from Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit communities through various channels, including education fairs, school visits, and counseling sessions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, guidance counselors, and community leaders.
  • Enrolment Management
    • Manage the enrolment process for Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit students, including application review, admission decisions, and registration.
    • Collaborate with our admissions team to ensure a smooth and efficient enrolment process.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain reports on enrolment metrics, including recruitment numbers, conversion rates, and student demographics.
    • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic enrolment decisions.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as education, business, or communications.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Anishinaabe/First Nations, Métis, Inuit cultures, traditions, and community relationship-building practices and protocols.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
