About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in business systems analysis and software development. The successful candidate will have expertise in data mapping, ETL processes, Big Data, and SQL databases.

The Senior Business Solution Architect will be responsible for:

  • Leading detailed requirement phases by identifying, tracking, escalating, and resolving business systems issues;
  • Assessing, researching, analyzing, and documenting sponsor/stakeholder needs using reporting tools and requirements;
  • Identifying, tracking, and resolving business systems issues;
  • Creating or leading the development of detailed level process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis, and training use;
  • Managing project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, reports, etc.) and resolving emerging issues at the implementation stage of the project;
  • Contributing to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies;
  • Developing a strategic training plan associated with the introduction of new/enhanced business processes;
  • Providing assistance with business user testing when required;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and internal/external team members;
  • Identifying issues and escalating/managing resolution as required.
About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience with business systems analysis and software development;
  • Expertise in data mapping and creating data mapping specifications;
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and experience with Big Data;
  • Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules for processing data;
  • Experience defining and documenting complex functional business logic;
  • Familiarity with SQL database and experience with scripting languages (SQL);
  • Strong experience working in Agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the Agile Framework;
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime offenses;
  • Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping;
  • Knowledge of IT delivery methodologies: Agile, Iterative Waterfall, and Waterfall.
