About the Role

CHRYS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
