Brandt Truck Rigging & Trailers is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team in Nisku.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand shop drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Operate MIG welders to produce high-quality welds.
  • Use hand power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately complete process sheets and count finished pieces.
  • Report damaged goods and scrap to supervisors.
  • Understand material sizes and specifications for products being worked on.
  • Operate oxygen acetylene cutting torch, plasma cutting, arc welder, and mig welder.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to company policies.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Use jigs properly and maintain a safe work area.
  • Meet production deadlines and maintain quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with truck upfitting and manufacturing.

Working Conditions:

7 and 7 shift schedule, Class 5 driver's license required.
