Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide primary health services to the community, working collaboratively with the health team to promote health, prevent disease, and provide supportive and emergency services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary health services to the community, including health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, and supportive and emergency services.
- Collaborate with and refer to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Initiate and participate in community development initiatives and evaluative projects.
- Develop and deliver formal education programs.
- Work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C).
- Certification in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or equivalent program required.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Advanced facilitation skills.
- Advanced research skills.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Advanced decision-making skills.
- Advanced leadership skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs.
