About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at the Banff Gondola. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning operations and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Staff: Direct and supervise cleaning staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, always ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Training and Development: Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Quality Control: Provide ongoing training and coaching to existing staff to maintain high-quality cleaning standards and enhance productivity.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that all Gondola grounds and facilities are kept tidy and clean to provide guests with a high-quality experience.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Cleaning Experience: Proven experience in cleaning operations, including supervisory experience.
  • Inventory Management: Ability to manage inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform all cleaning tasks in an assigned time.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
