About the Role

The Red Seal Millwright will provide full oversight of preventative maintenance services and repairs, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and creation of services plans. This role will work safely to repair and maintain all milling equipment within the mill building, internal and external tailings system equipment, and pumping systems for underground water and freshwater supply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs working within the Mill Maintenance team.
  • Work safely to repair and maintain all milling equipment within the mill building, internal and external tailings system equipment, and pumping systems for underground water and freshwater supply.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Millwright Certificate.
  • At least 1 year of industrial experience, preferably in mining.
  • Experience with SAG and Ball mills, conveyors, and gyratory crushers is an asset.
  • Welding experience would be considered an asset.
  • Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license.
  • Must be clean-shaven.
  • Requisite to possess a valid driver's license.
  • Required to meet pre-employment testing requirements.
