About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Video Game Artist to join our team at Built By Snowman Inc. as a key member of our game development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transform digitized images using retouching systems, graphic palettes or specialized software to create high-quality game assets.
  • Design and layout pages for our games, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging user experience.
  • Produce project designs that meet the artistic vision of our team, while also considering technical requirements and limitations.
  • Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes or specialized software to create a wide range of game assets.
  • Perform the layout, page make-up and placement using the conceptual mock-ups provided, ensuring a cohesive and polished final product.
  • Produce computerized images and drawings that meet the artistic and technical requirements of our games.
Requirements
  • Education: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as animation, interactive technology, or video graphics.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, C++, Autodesk Maya, C#, Python, and Unity3D.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling and game development principles.
