Job Title: Software Systems Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Pragra Incorporated. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions using agile methodologies
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems
  • Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in quality assurance or control
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, Android, Jira, and computer and technology knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Client focus, judgement, and team player skills
