Job Summary:

The Convenience Store Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of the store and its customers, including following all safety procedures and reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and to work on-call as needed.
