Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Good Samaritan Canada. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
