About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Installer Helper to join our team at Heera Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our drywall and acoustical installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport drywall and acoustical materials to and from construction sites.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Site Environment: This role requires working in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Construction Specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check may be required for this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player, hardworking, and experience an asset.
