Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Best Way Constructions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of dump trucks, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain dump trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, as well as the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle.
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
- Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
- AZ class license
- High school graduation certificate
- Will train
