Job Summary
Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our team in the MRI Department. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for carrying out the technical flow of work and participating in the daily departmental quality assurance program.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide complete patient care.
- Optimize image quality and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma (Degree) in radiography from an accredited institution.
- Member in good standing of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT.
- Minimum 3 years magnetic resonance experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience working on both 1.5 and 3T systems and asset.
