Job Title: Cardiology Technician

Hawkesbury General Hospital & District General Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to join our dynamic clinical environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiology tests, including Holter monitor installation and analysis, stress testing, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiology tests, including Holter monitor installation and analysis, stress testing, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiology techniques and technologies
• Work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Requirements:

• College diploma in Cardiology Technology or a related field
• Mandatory certification as a Registered Cardiology Technologist (or Registered Respiratory Therapist or Neurophysiology Technologist)
• Experience in exercise stress, exercise stress echo, and Holter analysis or nerve conduction studies and ECG
• Member of the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Effective time management and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
