We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at La Nettoyer Framing Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Prepare and submit tenders and quotations for construction projects
- Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
- Survey building locations and levels
- Train and supervise apprentices and other workers
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial buildings
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week
This is a permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
