We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at ONTARIO INC.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for completing various tasks related to concrete finishing, including filling hollows, operating power vibrators, and imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
- Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
The Concrete Finisher will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and will be exposed to dusty, hot, noisy, and wet/damp conditions.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Physically demanding work environment
- Handling heavy loads
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Attention to detail
- Transportation provided by employer
- Permanent work term
- 30 hours per week
- Work language: English
