Responsibilities:
- Install insulation materials such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
- Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
- Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
- Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Insulator Certification Required
- IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
