Responsibilities:

* Plan, direct, and manage all corporate accounting functions, including internal and external financial reporting and analysis
* Lead, manage, and mentor the corporate accounting team, including accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, internal controls, internal audit, and budgeting
* Timely reporting of Financial Statements of the operation: monthly, quarterly, and annually
* Ensure Bank Reconciliation and accruals are balanced and reported accurately
* Prepare the Financial Budgets for the company, with the assistance of the Senior Management team
* Set up the Year End audit process and supporting documents
* Work directly with the VP of Finance, CFO's, and our external auditors to ensure proper reporting of the financial status of the Group for our year-end

Requirements:

* A post-secondary education in business or accounting - CPA, CGA, CMA, or CA
* Years of experience in corporate accounting within a dealership environment
* PBS experience is considered an asset
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up, and accuracy coupled with good analytical skills and solid business acumen
* Strong working knowledge of computer accounting systems
* Advanced skills using MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* Must have a valid G driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract
