Apiary Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Apiary Worker to join our team at Poelman Apiaries Ltd. in a rural area. As a key member of our apiary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the bee yard and beekeeping equipment, performing general farm duties, and harvesting honey using automated extractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
- Perform general farm duties
- Harvest honey using automated extractors
Work Environment:
As an Apiary Worker, you will work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to bend, crouch, and kneel as part of your duties.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in beekeeping or a related field is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role
